Izzy Gallacher, NP

photo coming soon text on a yellow sticky note with three clips.jpg

Izzy joined WHCA in 2026 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, bringing her commitment to reproductive autonomy, sexual health, and patient‑centered care. She began her nursing career on the East Coast after graduating from Thomas Jefferson University at the start of the COVID‑19 pandemic. As the world shut down, she packed her bags and moved to Colorado.

Over the next few years, Izzy worked as an acute care float nurse, caring for underserved populations across a wide range of medical and psychiatric units. She then went on to work on a medical stabilization unit for patients with severe malnutrition and eating disorders. As she built her foundation in nursing, She knew that she would ultimately narrow the focus of her career to supporting women throughout their lifespan. She later earned her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Colorado.

Originally from Philadelphia, Izzy has built a life in Colorado. She spends most of her summers and falls outdoors—backpacking, hiking, and camping, and considers sipping coffee in a small mountain‑town after a long hike the best way to spend a day off. Outside of work, she values fitness, travel, time with friends, visiting family in Ireland and on the East Coast, exploring the mountains, and capturing moments on her film camera.
