Pregnancy is an exciting time, but we understand that there is a lot to learn. We strive to provide a wealth of information for our patients, and we use each visit as an opportunity to provide guidance and prepare you for the coming weeks. We hope you find the information below helpful, but please do not hesitate to contact our office at any time. We are honored to share this time with you and your family!
We understand that many of our patients have questions and concerns about the new Coronavirus. There is still much that we have to learn about the virus and how it behaves in pregnancy. We are encouraging our patients to prevent illness by cleaning hands often, avoiding contact with people who are sick, staying home if you are feeling unwell, and getting the seasonal flu vaccine. More information can be found on the CDC website. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Please note that our hospitals have put new policies into place to safeguard patients, most notably restricting ALL visitors ages 12 and under. That is, there will be no visitors ages 12 and under to the hospital labor & delivery or the postpartum units until further notice. We realize this may be difficult, but it is designed to help keep our patients safe as we learn more. Thank you for your understanding!
